Come on Friends,
Be honest,
I know all of you did it at least 4-5 times in Navodaya days. Without getting a gate pass signed by House master, you visited a dhaba nearby or seen in a cinemahall.
Okay, you did not do it often. That's why you are successful today.
But please share with us with your best memory how you managed to do it ?
Thanks and regards,
Ajay Kr. Thakur |

hey ajju,
its a good idea to think of how we were able to manage it....to go for cinemas or a nearby dhaba with out permission....but i do nt agree with the argument that who dint make it often are successful...try nt to be successful but rather try to be the right man....however i do agree with u to some extent....let me stop it here nt to deviate the topic....let me give u the saga of escapade....i used to slip away from the gate itself as such i do have permission....i used to do it even when a teacher passed by looking at me....but i used to cross the gate with a gr8 confidence that nobody doubted me....the other technique is take THE PATH WHICH IS LESS TRAVELLED(THE BACKYARD WAY)....i used to slip into the green fields behind our campus...and by walk reached to the near by town to taste the delicacies of local bakeries....and finally wacth the movies i loved....i had to beg, request, and say watsoever with my class mates, house mates to get managed in house meetings and rollcalls at the mess....wat not? it was a true escapade....u know, the best thing i was never caught....ofcourse a couple of my freinds had been caught....wat a pity.....i enjoy recollecting such a very naughty things...thanks to YOU AJAYTHAKUR for giving a room for it......
go ahead with ur memories,
Gangadhar Battula. |

Hi Gaga,
Our hats off for confidence dominated techniques.
You know in our school, students had breached the whole security to get out without gate pass. They managed to create a big whole in the bounday wall ( which was almost 50" thick) Can you believe it. And this whole was covered with bushes.
Hi Others,
YOu all seem to be very much PADHAKOO or disciplined. Tell your khurafaats.
Thanks and regards,
Ajay Thakur |

JEE BAHUT CHAAHTA HAI SACH BOLEN
KYA KARE HAUSALA NAHI HOTA
Feel this may be the problem with guys here to talk about their extra-curricular activities.
I am writing here so I am also supposed to say something about mine.
But friends it is very difficult to remember those things for people like me who brake laws thinking that they are not wrong. I do remember that I and many of our friends went out without any permission but interesting thing is; I never thought that I am doing something very wrong. That was because we were never caught.
So I don’t think we managed it not because we were very smart. I think we were too stupid to think about any complex plan. _________________ roushan |

hi,
as per as my jnv concerned, it was in temporary site while i was in navodaya.. i completed +2 in 1998 and it shifted to permanent site during 1998-99.. In that way we never need "so called GATE PASS" to visit any dhaba or cinema hall.. it was almost open space .. we used to go for bath to rivers sometime and used to go for trek without permission from house master... but we used to ask our seniors before this till we were 9th class... so and so..
There was cinema hall ( more or less a video hall) just in front of our play ground..what ever may be reason few new oriya movies and old hindi movies used to screen there... after 10th i was staying in a hostel little far from main building.. the cinema hall was on the way to my hostel.. interesting part was that we have seen many movies in the hall even we found our teachers watching movies in middle rows...
another thing, i able to watch complete kishen-kanhaiya movie in that hall with my friend after going 3 times to the hall.. 1st day in the evening show, 2nd day during noon show and 3rd day in matin show.. that was a bad experience.. of course cause was not that much related to school timing. it was the problem of both movie hall generator and school timing..
although it was in temporary site for which we had to face many problems, but we enjoyed each moment of jnv life in the whole area of RENGALI..

Hi Pradhan,
Thanks for giving a new lease of life to this very very old thread of mine, which was badly orphaned since long. I do not know how you dig it out ( a work, Roushan was specialised in earlier ).
Anyway,
I hope, it would encourage some other enthusiastic readers to come out with their experiences.
Thanks,
Ajay Kumar Thakur |
